IF your main point was wrt ‘cunt’ and gay cis dudes using the word then that’s one thing, but you didn’t frame it that way at all. You’ve also said that your shade for the cunts tee was personal after Adam called you a bitch. IDK/IDC when you tacked the idea that gay dudes praising femininity comes at the expense of masculine women, but none of your arguments or opinions follow any kind of logic other than b/c-i-said-so.

More than one queer person, person of color, and woman has approached me IRL after this (which is weird because I don’t broadcast much online) and thanked me for saying something that “we were all thinking.” Also you’ve been called out on the images of black women that you post in terms of appropriation although it seems to have been disappeared. Basically lots of people don’t share your opinions, disagree with your interpretation of things, or don’t like your methods so they don’t engage with you … because you don’t do discourse. You insult and go after peoples work or blogs using personal attacks that aren’t germane to the conversation.

Your response here even included a little dig at the class you perceive me to be a part of (“trip$ to siberia.”) I had to complete some kind of study abroad to finish one of my degrees, the siberia trip was one of the cheapest and shortest trips available. It was one of the only ways I could fulfill the requirement without losing my job or breaking my bank account. You’ve got no clue wether or not I was on financial aid, how the trip was paid for, or like… IDK do you think siberia is a fabulous and exciting place to visit? one: i should’ve gone back to ignoring you, or just not taken the bait with the big caucasian herring earlier.

it’s definitely not a salute to an artist whose work i don’t love and whom i had to deal with/cater to/be ignored when i was still doing semi-skilled labor work for a major art institution. it’s intended to be self-mocking. its a little bit of fuck you to the kind of subversive, sexual, or appropriative artistic practice is valued and condoned in the high art world.
The 19th and 20th century origins and use of the word caucasian to describe the concept (social construct) of a white race are groce beyond redundant. That it took till the 1960’s for scientists to stop using the terms “caucasoid” “negroid” and “mongoloid” is abhorrent. The weird 1990’s well intentioned but poorly practiced multiculturalism as political correctness aka white guilt expressed as cultural appropriation seems to be when the word resurfaced most recently - sans the cultural awareness of the history of “caucasian” and so-called scientific racism. In former commie russia, caucasian is a really really bad thing to be (although the use of the word there is geographically accurate) which is the cultural analog of blackness in america, except there is a lot of blatant, unapologetic, organized, violent racism in russia. a couple years ago when I was traveling in siberia with a mixed group of American and Russian students, trying to communicate ideas like racism across language barriers was hard. towards the end of the month long trip myself and a couple friends got tired of it, gave up, and started describing ourselves as caucasian to them and other russian folk we could communicate with because it pissed-off the porcelain bitches who wouldn’t talk to the chinese american student on the trip, let alone any of the IRL mongolian/chinese population in eastern/southern siberia.
It’s also a url 4 a pseudonymous cunts & cats & cartoons tumblr that a WHOPPING 96 people follow, the vast majority of which are close personal friends that are familiar with me making fun of my translucent state.

two: even if i intended to be or was or am wildly racist in using caucasianpunkb01 as a handle, it doesn’t invalidate my opinions on feminism. it doesn’t make me an outsider to conversations about female bodies or female bodied people or chicks or grrls or women or ladies. out of touch with contemporary attitudes about privilege, intersectionality, and social justice, yes. anyone who uses the word caucasian doesn’t know shit about feminism? no. some feminists hold racist beliefs. some queers say abelist shit. some POC are classist. when issues that pertain to women and race come up, feminist racist folk can/should GTFO if they mouth off or really even pipe up (unless it’s to shut up other white people or voice support without taking up excess space.) but this isn’t about women in the workplace or white washed perceptions of femininity and beauty, this is about cunts. art cunts.  

three: you posted an ask abt the cunt word, and misogyny - specifically calling out the house of ladosha as cis and gay and men. me i have one of those c-word things yr all fired up abt (and generally speaking i get REALLY EXCITED about cunts m’self.) Most of the time i’m read and move through the world as a member of the -gyny suffix so I figure my opinion on who can call themselves or their friends or me a cunt (in a positive reclaimed fashion) is valid.

  four: when I see the whole house of ladosha (ivory tower western whitey read house and write collective) get a week solo in manhattan proper I’m into it, because any commercial show that has not one but three women of color (let alone a minority of white dudes) showing work is crazy progress, and they’re all(?) mostly(?) very(!) queer too. Collectives (in the Art context) usually come in one of two flavors: share your stuff or share your thoughts. I’m pretty sure ladosha is more the latter than the former and informal in their execution of both, but if we’re playing intersectional privilege tennis about art from the house’s show then i’m going to assume that Juliana’s work/opinion/approval/validation is MORE than enough reason for me to give Michael a pass if he needs one. Further none of female-bodied women people in the house are being browbeaten into using the c-word, nor do they object to these specific “gay” men reclaiming cunt. Ladosha people who self-identify with she pronouns all the time probably have had heavy handed queer theory convos about feminism and race and class with those cis gay and mostly and or always he pronoun ladoshians. FORTUNATELY THAT VIDEO ART PIECE WOULD BE HEINOUS BORING PREACHY SHITTY LAME AND I DON’T HAVE TO WATCH IT. Instead the house serves up attitude about all of this noise that refuses to take toooooo many little label boxes seriously. It’s about femininity first and masculinity second. The cats/cunts tee? Is the person who physically makes ladosha tee’s a dude? yea. are the t-shirts he makes his work as in individual? no. When I saw it I saw a dig against the “gay” word which historically has way too much to do with musical theater. I saw shade for all of the chelsea GWM who come to Westgay. I saw a pussy joke.

 five: idgi with yr carry tho or most of “social justice” alt hipster tumblr queer liberal arts womens studies whathaveyou because all that comes from that stance is problematizing. feels good, doesn’t do much of anything productive except jerk each other off or blow off steam. if you dig long and hard enough you can pick apart damn near everything with a social justice critique. why are all of the members of the house able bodied? or yeah, it’d be nice if half rather than a third of them were not men. it’d be even better if they were all not boys, but they not. that kind of change doesn’t happen over night or all at once and it never has. so what are your politics here? borderline separatist but I doubt you practice that IRL and if you do, who exactly are you separate from or would be separate from if you could? Anyone not “female-bodied” (wth does that mean anyways?) Anyone not queer? All cis people? All white people? All of the above? and who gets to make that call? what exactly does queer mean? who is allowed to police that identity? i say not you.  

i disagree with your attitude about the show and their work. i dig the fuck you to words and labels and presentations that are used to divide and keep down both myself and my friends/community while upholding the patriarchy. my queer grrl rage isn’t invalid because it’s not the same as yours.
